About our Women's Team
Our Women’s Team was one of the first dedicated women’s teams set up in London in 2015 by our Director of Football, Tony Allen. The women's team initially competed in both flag and tackle football. After winning the National Flag Championship in their first year, they have gone from strength to strength and were crowned National Champions in 2022. In 2023, they were part of a group of five UK women's teams to make the move to play nine-a-side football, and went on to win the 2023 National Championships. They were National runners-up in 2024 and are currently challenging for the national championship in 2025.

Many of our women's team players have gone on to represent GB, and eight of our players won silver medals at the 2022 IFAF Women’s World Championship, under the leadership of a GB Head Coach who is also a former London Warrior Coach.

We also provide plenty of progression opportunities, for example with players going on to represent GB at both flag and contact.

Volunteer as a Coach or Support Staff
We are always looking for volunteer staff to join the warrior family.
-
If you want to get into coaching, experience is ideal but not always necessary as we are always looking for Assistant Coaches to help develop and learn the sport (we have helped over 70 coaches gain their Level 1 qualifications).
-
Don't fancy coaching but want to get involved on the sidelines? We are always looking for Team Managers, Assistant Team Managers, as well as other support roles to help within the Club, like statisticians, video crew, photographers and even medical staff.
