Tony Allen is widely recognised as one of the most influential figures in British American football, with over 35 years’ experience in coaching and player development. He is the long-standing Head Coach of the London Warriors and the founding Head Coach of the NFL Academy in London — the first of its kind in Europe.

Tony has played a pivotal role in shaping the sport’s development in the UK. Under his leadership, the London Warriors have become one of the most successful teams in British American football history, with multiple BritBowl championships and national titles across youth, men’s, and women’s teams. At the NFL Academy, he pioneered a model that blends elite football training with academic achievement and personal growth, creating pathways for young British athletes to access opportunities in the US college system and beyond.

Tony brings deep insight into talent development and the transformative power of sport. A former Director of International Player Development at NFL International, he has helped hundreds of young people unlock their potential — on and off the field. He gives his time to the board because he believes in the power of disciplined coaching, education, and mentorship to change lives.
