Glen Fendley

Glen Fendley is CEO of the Dukes Foundation, the charitable arm of Dukes Education, the UK’s largest group of independent schools. Widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading experts in school development and fundraising, he has helped shape the profession over a 30-year career.

Glen has led complex start-up programmes, driven ambitious income generation strategies, and advised more than 150 leaders across the education and non-profit sectors globally. A former Chair of the Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE), he has also provided strategic counsel to the Chartered Institute of Fundraising on best practice and ethical standards.

He is deeply committed to empowering young people as confident, socially responsible leaders across business, government, and the third sector. A regular speaker at international conferences, Glen shares expertise on leadership, philanthropy, and innovation, while continuing to mentor the next generation of development professionals.
